Copyright and DMCA Policy

StreamEast respects copyright and provides a process for reporting material or links accessible through thestreameast.top that a copyright owner believes are infringing. This page explains what a notice should contain, how a counter-notice may be submitted and what may happen after a complete request is received.

This procedure is intended for copyright complaints. It should not be used for trademark questions, privacy requests, schedule corrections, technical support or disputes with an independent broadcaster or advertising destination.

1. Scope of This Policy

StreamEast organizes sports schedules and event information. Some pages may contain links, players, widgets or other content supplied or loaded by independent third parties. StreamEast does not claim ownership of third-party broadcasts, video, league or team marks, or other material belonging to their respective owners.

A copyright notice should identify the exact StreamEast-controlled URL, link or page element at issue. If the complained-of material appears only on an independent provider's website or systems, contacting that provider or its hosting service directly may be the most effective route. StreamEast can review access that it controls, but cannot remove a file from a third party's server.

2. Before Sending a Notice

Only a copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner should submit a copyright infringement notice. Before sending one, consider whether the use is authorized by the owner, licensed, permitted by law or potentially covered by an exception such as fair use. StreamEast cannot decide private ownership disputes or provide legal advice.

A separate notice is not needed for every URL when one notice provides a representative list of multiple copyrighted works on the same site and enough information to locate each complained-of item or link.

3. Copyright Infringement Notice

To allow a notice to be evaluated, provide substantially all of the following information in writing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if the notice covers multiple works on the website.
  3. Identification of the material, activity, reference or link claimed to be infringing, together with information reasonably sufficient to locate it. Include the exact thestreameast.top URL and identify the relevant page element or link.
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to contact you, such as your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Include enough context to distinguish the copyrighted work from the event, team, competition or factual schedule information. A bare request to remove an entire sport, league, domain or search term without identifying the protected work and the material at issue may not be sufficient.

4. Where to Send a Notice

Send copyright notices by email with the subject 'DMCA Notice' to:

Email is the currently published contact method. Do not describe this contact as a U.S. Copyright Office registered designated agent unless the registration has been completed and the public details match the official directory.

5. Review and Action

When a notice identifies the copyrighted work, the complained-of material or link and a way to contact the sender, StreamEast may request missing information, review the relevant page and take action it considers appropriate. Depending on what StreamEast controls, that may include correcting a reference, removing a link, disabling access to a page element or forwarding the notice to an independent provider.

Receipt of a notice does not automatically establish infringement. StreamEast may preserve relevant records, contact affected parties and consider the information supplied, apparent authorization and applicable law. Where the requirements of an applicable notice-and-takedown regime are met, StreamEast intends to act within the timeframe that regime requires.

6. Notification to an Affected Provider or User

If material or access is removed or disabled in response to a complaint, StreamEast may take reasonable steps to notify the person or provider responsible for the affected material when contact information is available. The notice sender's complaint, including contact information, may be shared as reasonably necessary to process the claim, support a counter-notice or comply with law.

7. Counter-Notice

If you believe material or a link under your control was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice. For a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. section 512, provide substantially all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, mailing address and telephone number, together with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable United States Federal District Court as required by 17 U.S.C. section 512(g), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.

Send the counter-notice to info@thestreameast.top with the subject 'DMCA Counter-Notice.' A counter-notice is a legal communication. Consider obtaining advice from a qualified lawyer before submitting one.

8. Restoration Following a Counter-Notice

Where the U.S. DMCA counter-notice process applies, StreamEast may restore the affected material or access no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving a compliant counter-notice, unless the original notice sender informs StreamEast that a court action has been filed seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.

That timetable does not require StreamEast to restore material for an unrelated policy violation, security risk, technical reason or other lawful basis independent of the copyright notice.

9. Repeat Infringement

Where applicable to a feature, account, provider or contributor under StreamEast's control, StreamEast may restrict or terminate access for repeat infringement in appropriate circumstances. The response will depend on the available facts, the nature of the service and applicable law. This section does not claim that the public website currently operates user accounts or accepts public uploads.

10. Misrepresentations and Abuse

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may result in liability under applicable law, including 17 U.S.C. section 512(f). Do not submit a copyright complaint to suppress criticism, factual information, lawful competition, authorized use or material you do not own or represent.

StreamEast may disregard abusive, duplicate, automated or incomplete messages that do not identify a copyright issue, while taking reasonable steps to request missing statutory information when appropriate.

11. Privacy

Notices and counter-notices may contain personal information and legal statements. StreamEast may use and share that information as reasonably necessary to evaluate the request, communicate with affected parties, maintain records, respond to legal process and comply with applicable law. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers or information unrelated to the claim.

12. Other Requests

13. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated when contact details, website features, service-provider relationships or legal requirements change. The revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date. A change to the published policy does not replace any separate registration or operational step required by law.
